Charles Olson

Charles Olsen's quote talks of the dispersion. Does he mean sleep?

He means colonization by the white virus I suspect, though he'd have been well aware of other readings.
One of his shorter poems reads Barbara Ellis / ramp. A student once said to him, "There are 6 different meanings of ramp in the dictionary. Which one did you intend?". Olson answered, "All of them!"
